Mount Stewart House in Northern Ireland is now owned by the British National Trust and is open to the public. It is a late Georgian house and the images of the lobby clearly show the neo-classical structure; however in the 1920's and thirties the house was redecorated according to the taste of the then owner, Lady Londonderry.
Her lounge/drawing room is all about comfort and her use of color can be seen here in the various tones she uses and the colorful decorative arts.
